BAEConsult (Baharuddin & Associates Engineering Consultancy Private Limited) was founded as Baharuddin & Associates Consulting Engineers (BACE)" in early 1992. It is an association of professionally qualified engineers mainly in Civil Engineering and Structural Engineering disciplines. Its primary purpose was to serve the Brunei Shell Petroleum, Brunei Government and the local Private Sector clients.

Today BAEC, with its sister company Baharuddin P.M.S. Associates Sdn Bhd (BPMS), provides a broad spectrum of services to its clients. Above services included are study, planning, engineering, scheduling, costing, procurement and construction management services to both, the government and the private sector. BAEC and BPMS form the Baharuddin Group of Engineering Companies (BGEC).
